Rehabilitation and therapy are proven to be more effective when the client or patient is in a safe and comfortable environment, where they can process their trauma and receive treatment in peace. Getting away from the hustle and bustle can often be therapeutic in itself.
Costs of Therapy Services
Prior to using our therapy services, we will make arrangements to prepare for our resident’s therapy care. This will include talking to families or clients about the costs of care, possible payment plans and how the process works.
Although we mainly offer our therapy services to all of our private clients and residents, we do sometimes accept referrals from the health service. If your doctor or GP has referred you to Whickham Villa, feel free to get in touch and we can provide you with a brochure or help put your mind at ease.

Physiotherapy is one of the most popular services at Whickham Villa. Physiotherapy is an essential part of recovery when it comes to any kind of physical injury. From neck pain caused by stress to severe pain caused by an accident or disease, physiotherapy can dramatically improve the mobility of patients and improve their quality of life through pain reduction.
When you attend a physiotherapy session at Whickham Villa, we do ask that you come suitably dressed for your treatment. It is best that you wear clothing that will allow you to feel comfortable when moving various parts of your body. For example, if you are being treated on the upper part of your body, we advise that you wear a comfortable top such as a t-shirt or sweatshirt. Alternatively, if it is your lower body that is being treated you should ensure that your trousers are loose or stretchy so that you can move easily.
Please feel free to contact us if you need more information or have any questions.
